This article is an interesting read. I have never been a fan of TikTok and it was the one app we were warned to never even download. When a user downloads TikTok, they immediately must agree to a set of permissions to permit the app to function. These include access to your phone’s microphone, camera, contacts, location services, and clipboard. The app is developed in China which means the CCP has a very heavy hand in its development. Our own government uses Facebook to harvest data from us to the Chinese are no doubt using TikTok to harvest data too.
