By the spring of 2005, the federal investigation into the collapse of the Twin Towers was nearing its end. On April 5th, NIST held a media and public briefing in New York to walk through its draft findings — how the towers performed that morning, why they fell, and what should change in how tall buildings are built. This is tape 3 of 4 from that briefing, preserved from NIST’s own website. Dry, technical, and worth your time.
