Day 56 of 2018.

It’s how I start every journal entry of every day. If you don’t have a journal try Day One. Or a regular old book will do. A journal is a constant reminder of how fast the days are going and that I need to make some progress towards my goals everyday because the days are numbered and we don’t know how many we have left.

The days are now getting longer here and Spring has actually sprung in my new home of Charlotte, NC. As I sit back and sip on my glass of wine with the birds chirping in the background… I am reminiscing about how far I have come in the last year.

“A Year From Now You May Wish You Had Started Today”

It’s the thought that is currently going through my head and I leave it behind here on the “interwebs” to encourage others who wander through here. “Don’t wait, time is flying, get started on whatever you want to do and start now”.

Every Sunday I do a weekly review. I go over the good and the bad of the previous week, what could I do better, what could I improve upon, and what do I need to do for the upcoming week to get me closer to my goals. Always thinking about the next step to move me in the right direction, always staying on the path I want to travel on.

“I could always improve on my writing which I am always working on”.

So, this Sunday, I just wanted to leave behind a little reminder. It’s Day 56 already. Get started on building the life you want. Day 365 will be here before you know it.
