It’s Tech Tuesday and time for a new Tech Tip!

I’ve been testing a small, free, Gmail plugin that I consider Networking on Steroids. If you are a Gmail user this is the ultimate tool to add to your collection. But it’s not just for Gmail, there are also Rapportive plugin’s for Safari, Firefox, Mailplane & Chrome. I have only tested the Gmail version.

Rapportive shows you everything about your contacts right inside your inbox. You can immediately see what people look like, where they’re based, and what they do. The video highlights the plugin’s facebook capabilities but when I use the Gmail plugin, Rapportive basically gives me the capability to find my email contacts on twitter, facebook, flickr, linkedin and more.

So If you are an active networker, freelancer or basically anyone that exchanges emails on a daily basis with clients or potential clients you may want to give this little plugin a try. Now, whenever I get an email from a subscriber, I may end up following them on twitter if I can locate a twitter account. It’s a great tool I use everyday!

You can download the plugin here…
