Facebook keeps sending business my way with all these malware infected computers that I need to fix so I had to setup the account again to grab that business. I did hear that facebook growth has leveled off. Might have had something to do with the little blogger movement away from facebook. Now I’m wondering what google will be doing next. Glad to see you remembered “the facebook”. :)

Your a brave soul. You are the only blogger I know who is actually going back into “the facebook”. You might be onto something. Maybe we all should go back and educate facebook users. Your risking identity theft big time by using that service. I hear in the last few months their growth has leveled off. Our job is done.

There is no way to track the gold card. I know originally Starbucks stated it takes 4-8 weeks for you to receive the card. It only took 3 weeks for me to get though. You might get it sooner than you think. ;)

hey, awesome that you received your gold card!

I recently entered Gold card status (not that it really matters since Starbucks has free wi-fi for everyone now).. I was wondering how do i know when my card is already on the way? If I have a billing address on my account already, is that good enough? I can’t see anything on the website that tells me that my gold card is on the way.

Actually The whole video was done in HD. Not sure why but there was a shot of the boardwalk that didn’t look HD and my closing is actually done using the isight on the Macbook Pro. I do not think that was in HD.

Was the whole video done in HD? I noticed some spots where the video was super clear and others where the video is somewhat grainy. Love the sand sculptures though!

Your right Bill. I’ve thought of that myself which is why I’ve been documenting my hunt for wifi hotspots. Long Island happens to be very far ahead of the rest of the country because of Long Islands very own, Cablevision. Cablevision is attempting to blanket the whole Island in Wifi and it might only be another 5 years before they are done. I don’t know of any other city in the country attempting this. Kind of cements Steve Jobs reputation as a visionary. In the future we won’t need these networks because wifi will be everywhere.

Metered usage is a provider’s dream, so it’s no surprise that ATT is dropping their unlimited plans. They claim that a small minority of users are using all the bandwidth, so most current subscribers won’t be affected or should benefit from less congestion. With the new phone there will be a larger demand for bandwidth and I do think it will be crippled to some extent without unlimited data plans. However, I see this only as a temporary problem. Once wi-fi becomes ubiquitous we’ll all be laughing about the days when we used to need data (and probably even phone) plans.
