I have yet to find a comprehensive list of places on Long Island where you can locate blogger friendly sites that will allow you to sit down and work so I’m making my own. I’m putting together a spreadsheet of locations of viable mobile offices that I will turn into a database. If you are a blogger, freelancer or Entrepreneur that is on the road and need a place to work, this spreadsheet is for you.
If your on Long Island, here are the maps for: AT&T’s WiFi network and Optimum’s Wifi Network. Comcast and Time Warner are currently piggybacking the Optimum WiFi network so if you are customers of either you can sign on anywhere on the Optimum Online network.

Here are the WiFi Locators for the area wireless providers:
- Cablevision – Optimum Online
- Comcast – Xfinity WiFi
- Time Warner
- AT&T
Security – as always, be careful on public WiFi hotspots. They are open connections that are not secure. I recommend using a VPN when accessing these networks. Check out my postings on WiFi Security for more info...
