I actually would have stayed longer and whipped out the laptop to get some work done just to be able to say I was the first blogger to work here. Just no WiFi. Will I ever be able to tether over ATT? I can claim the first tweet!

I love your blog because we are about the same age. I have have witnessed and kept up with the changes firsthand like you. I remember Shoppers Village too. You ask a good question. But for how long? Too many damn malls, Targets, Bestbuys and Walmarts. I can get everything in one place and I know exactly where everything is. Competing with these big guys is next to impossible.

It’s been a while and I forgot about Shoppers Village. I’m eventually going to go but Walmart is so much more entertaining. lol

I went to shoppers village already when it opened. I now only go to stores that I can research beforehand. I’m not going all the way out to West Hempstead without knowing what’s on sale. Impulse buying is dead right now.
