In honor of the unofficial start to the school season (unofficial because NYC kids go back on the 9th whereas the kids on Long Island start today), today’s posting is dedicated to all the teachers out there who have an incredibly important task… Educating future generations. We all know why education is important, we just don’t know how important it really is and that is why I’m looking forward to reviewing this next video.
“Visit www.2mminutes.com. This is the sequel to the controversial documentary 2 Million Minutes. World Premier will be held September 17th in Washington D.C.”
I have been waiting for this video to come out for well over a year now as this is the sequel to the first 2 million minutes. If your a parent, student or lifelong learner like myself, this second 2 million minutes should be a must see movie.
The theory, according to the trailer, is “the countries that choose to excel at education will be the successful countries. Everybody else is going to fall back.”
I would hate to be a part of one of the countries that falls back. Imagine the United States being a third world country. This scenario could happen if we don’t make education a top priority.
- Here is the original trailer to the first 2 million minutes movie…
“A countries economic future is dependent on how it’s students collectively spend their valuable high school minutes.”
So if your a student, teacher or someone who can have an impact on someone else’s education, we’ve got work to do. Welcome back to school!
