“A New Beginning”
The President gives a speech in Cairo, Egypt, outlining his personal commitment to engagement with the Muslim world, based upon mutual interests and mutual respect, and discusses how the United States and Muslim communities around the world can bridge some of the differences that have divided them. I was sleeping while our President was hard at work attempting Peace in the Middle East on the other side of the world. I haven’t finished watching myself but at almost 55 minutes, this is President Obama’s longest speech yet. I love the way he quotes the Koran and highlights how important the Muslim community has been throughout history. A great speech all should listen to. Enjoy…..
